The spirit realms of life, when one is attuned to them, possess a much greater reality than the physical world does. The music of life is more abundant and played more intently. Still the silence speaks to those who dwell there also. Life’s message in the spirit realms of life is ever of the POWER to be had in the physical world. So many come from the spirit realms to the physical seeking POWER. The POWER they find only serves to corrupt their own spirit. The POWER to be had in the physical world exists in all the realms of life. It might be that it is easier to identify it in the physical world, or perhaps here it is easier to learn how to control it.

          As physical human beings we tend to associate power with wealth, and power and wealth with money. The POWER that life implies to have in the physical world has nothing to do with money. Money and the wealth and power it affords has nothing to do with spiritual life. NOW, understand I am not putting money down. Having money and the physical wealth it affords one can also buy physical world time for the individual. Time to pursue personal interests other than earning a living. Real wealth in the physical world, and the spirit realms as well, is having the time and thus the ability to pursue personal interests that are good for your own eternal being. If one will allow oneself to look from the vantage point of the spirit realms, one can see up into the vast realms of being above the physical, above the astral, above the spirit, into the vast areas of life above the frequencies of all these lower levels of life. BUT, while the life being can see into these realms, one does NOT have the POWER to go to these places. So as the spirit being languishes in the near astral realms, desiring access into the upper levels of life, life whispers, “The power is in the physical world.” Life does not say the money is in the physical world, nor the wealth is in the physical world. Physical world money/wealth means nothing on the other side of life. But the POWER life speaks of, you can take with you into the upper realms of life. In fact, it is the POWER that allows access. Understand what I am saying. This POWER allows access. It does not give access. Intent, desire, and focus give access. But the access that intent, desire, and focus give cannot be realized without the POWER that allows access to occur.

          Take an automobile and remove the engine. You can call it a lot of things now, but not an automobile. It cannot go anyplace under its own power. Even with the engine in the vehicle, the driver must perform certain rituals precisely and consistently in order for the automobile to perform as its designers intended it would. If you don’t do all the rituals properly, you may have an automobile, but you’re not going anyplace in it. The same is true with your physical body, which is a physical world vehicle, but, it is also a spiritual vehicle and has the potential to travel vertically through all the realms of life. Of course, there are certain rituals you need to perform in order to get this vehicle to function as its designers intended it should.

          Upon occasion I have watched TV, even though I would like to think that my mentality is a little more developed than an eight-year-old’s. On one of these occasions, I happened to tune into a station that had an evangelist preaching. As I watched for a moment before switching channels again (I was looking for a western), he raised his arms above his head and hollered, “Oh God, lift me up to heaven tonight!” Now this guy seemed to be in fair health physically, so from a spiritual vantage point what has he just done? “My version”: He comes out of his apartment, gets in his car, the engine is running, and the car has been sitting there in neutral. He picks up his car phone, calls Acme towing service and asks them to come over and tow his car to the drive-in movies. And would they please come and get him again at 11:30 when the movie is over. Now you pull that stunt a few times in the physical world, and if the right people find out about it, you’re going to be wearing a jacket with very long sleeves. But spiritually we do this all the time. Life is a do-it-yourself experience. You have the vehicle. All you have to do is learn how to run the engine and give the proper command signals. But the vehicle you have is not an automobile. It’s an airplane.

          If one has not tied oneself to the negative side of one’s being, the conditions in the afterlife are such that it is very easy to see into the many realms of life above the physical. Easy to see into them, but not easy to go into them. Nor do there seem to be any explanations as to why some live on higher realms than others. To see that there is a way up, but not be able to move up must be very frustrating to the being. Then the being incarnates again and is saddled with a temporal mind again. The great temporal mind, is destined to function in relation to the spirit mind, but seldom ever allowed to make the crucial contact. We are a product of our mind, but actually we are a product of the “training” that the temporal mind is given. The temporal mind has a great potential, but it is thwarted by the “training” it is given as it develops along with the brain of the individual being.

          The temporal mind is just that, temporary. It originates with the brain, develops with the brain, and it will stay with the brain when the being returns to life, beyond the physical plane. Thus, the temporal mind is mortal. It can house/control enough consciousness to understand it will perish when the body does. Beings, human beings, tend to identify with the temporal mind and thus come to believe we also are mortal. For a being to be here in this time and in control of a human body, they would have to come across a great expanse of time and experience to be here, here and human in this time. The temporal mind only “knows” what the temporal mind has learned. The being carried a great deal of subliminal knowledge and/or wisdom, and while the being may access this, the temporal mind tends to not be aware that this library of memory exists.

          Through some forms of meditation, the being can gain access to its own spirit self, making it possible to link the temporal mind with the spirit mind, and thus the being can reestablish its eternal life momentum while alive in its physical world body. There is an incredible spiritual profit that can result from this linkage. Worth far more to the individual being than the wealth this solar system has to offer. But first you have to learn how to fly the airplane (meditate), and it flies best when it goes straight up. Most of the vertical progression involves learning how to manage the energy of the spiritual engine that drives your life force and can give you access to the Universe of Universes. You don’t have to pray to God to lift you up into heaven. It’s only a twenty-minute walk.

          The vertical path gives one access to the fire of life, and access to the knowledge of how to manage the fire. Knowing how to drive the fire of life gives the individual being freedom. Freedom into realms of life your dreams do not even know of …
